Every affiliate marketer should invest in a good keyword research tool. Sure, you could use the free tools out there, such as Overture, but they lack the robust and time saving features of Keyword Elite from Brad Callen and Bryxen Software. Are you a bum marketer? Having trouble brainstorming ideas for a new niche website? How would you like to spy on your competition?
Keyword Elite has 5 different projects you can run to gather and analyze keyword data.
Project 1: Create a Keyword List
This is the heart and soul of Keyword Elite. Enter your keyword or keyword phrase, select all the sources you would like to receive your keywords from (Overture, Google, Yahoo!, Ask.com, Meta Tags, Mispelled Keyword), and finally the number of search result results to return (up to 5,000). Keyword Elite also allows you to pull in keyword suggestions from WordTracker and KeywordDiscovery if you are subscribed to those services.

Below are the results for my query of the phrase “weight loss”. As you can see, Keyword Elite allows you to manipulate and sort the keyword results in many ways as well as export the data to a file.

Keyword Elite also allows you send keywords from Project 1 to Project 2 or Project 4. In the example below, I’m going to send the keyword phrase “acupuncture weight loss” to Project 2.
Project 2: Analyze pay per click listings
This tool allows you to analyze PPC listings for various search engines to help you get a handle on what a particular keyword is going to cost you. I sent the keyword “acupuncture loss weight” from Project 1 over to see what advertisers are paying.

As you can see below, Google will not reveal individual advertisers bid amounts, but you can get that information from other search engines, such as Enhance and Miva.
You do not have to run Project 1 in order to analyze keyword. You run Project 2 standalone and enter any keyword. The ability to send data from one project to is a well thought out function of Keyword Elite and a great time saver.
Project 3: Select a keyword list
This project searches over 40,000 pre-built keyword lists for virtually any topic imaginable.
Once again, you can send any number of keywords to Project 2 or Project 4.
Project 4: Analyze keyword competition
Project 4 is an SEO tool. Enter in a keyword, and Keyword Elite will reveal how optimized the competition is for a particular keyword. It will help you gauge whether or not a keyword will be difficult to rank highly for. For each of the top websites, Keyword Elite will display its Google Page Rank, the total number of words on the website, the number of times the keyword appears, keyword density, as well as other useful information.

Look at how many websites don’t even use H1 or bold tags! It’s little optimizations like this that can help you get ranked better with the search engines and get a leg over the competition.
Project 5: Spy on Adwords competition
This is definitely one of the more interesting features of Keyword Elite. You can create multiple spy projects to find out what your competition is continually bidding on. Enter the keywords and the domains you would like to spy on, and Keyword Elite will reveal which keywords are producing a profit for them. You can schedule this feature to run daily, weekly, or monthly. Using our previous keyword phrase “acupuncture weight loss”, we could plug this into Project 5, spy on skinnyondiets.com and set it to run daily. The Keyword Elite scheduler will then minimize to the system tray and run at the select interval.

If we find that our competition is continuously bidding on our keyword phrase after a few weeks, it’s safe to assume that it is a very profitable campaign.
Conclusion
Keyword Elite is the most robust and feature-packed keyword research tool on the market. It also comes with a HUGE video tutorial library. Brad Callen’s team also provides excellent support for their products and they are continuously releasing updates and adding features to Keyword Elite and are always open to suggestions.

Mark Roth (known as the Google million dollar PPC Super Affiliate) and programmer Raakesh Blokhra are the brains behind a new affiliate campaign product known as Affiliate Radar. We all know that tracking our campaigns is an absolute necessity, but how many of us actually do it? Most people just run campaigns, see an overall profit, but don’t know which keywords are contributing to that profit and which ones are losing them money. Affiliate Radar solves all these problems (and a lot more).
Here are some of the key features:
Now, what sets Affiliate Radar apart from every other product on the market is the Campaign Launcher. This tool allows you to create one PPC campaign, and then export it to all Google, Yahoo, and MSN. You can also import campaigns from the search engines back into Campaign Launcher.
Check out the diagram below for a great visual of how it works:

Some of you are not running campaigns with Yahoo and MSN either because you’re too lazy or it’s tedious and a pain to track. Affiliate Radar solves that problem. And, some of you don’t run campaigns with Yahoo and MSN because the guru’s tell you it’s not worth it and that Google is the best. Let me help you solve that problem. Google wasn’t always the best, is now, but may not always be. Yahoo and MSN are spending a lot of money on their search technology, and it is getting very good. And here’s something else to think about: Google controls 2/3 of all search engine traffic. That leaves 30% to Yahoo, MSN, and the smaller search engines. PPC is typically cheaper with Yahoo and MSN, and according to Mark Roth, while the quantity of traffic is lower, the quality is very good (be sure to sign-up for the special report on the Affiliate Radar website, it is very good, and goes much deeper into the information I’ve just given you).
Most affiliate are pushing Google Cash Detective, which is a decent tool, but does not even come close to the features of Affiliate Radar. In fact, none of the “spying” tools do. If you’re looking for the ultimate Affiliate Marketing Campaign Management Tool, check out Affiliate Radar.
